The 1/2″ LoRaWAN Ultrasonic Water Meter with Valve Controller is an advanced smart water meter designed for accurate flow measurement and remote monitoring. Using ultrasonic technology with no moving parts, it ensures long service life and high reliability even in impure water conditions. The device features an integrated valve controller, IP68 waterproof protection, and up to 8 years of battery life, while supporting LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, RS485, and M-Bus communication for seamless smart water management and remote data collection.

The 1/2″ LoRaWAN Ultrasonic Water Meter with Valve Controller is a new type of water meter that detects the time difference caused by changes in the speed of the ultrasonic beam as it propagates with and against the current in the water. It analyzes the flow rate of the treated water and calculates its volume. It has no internal moving parts, no current-blocking elements, and is resistant to water impurities, resulting in a long service life.

FIS Costa Rica offers a total solution for you, which includes an ultrasonic water meter, a gateway/concentrator, and management software.

  •  The valve is integrated, fully enclosed, and anti-destructive.
  •  With self-diagnostic function: flow sensor failure alarm, temperature sensor failure alarm, over-range measurement alarm, low battery voltage alarm, valve failure alarm
  •  By applying a patented flow measurement method and intelligent data error correction technology, high measurement accuracy and stability are achieved.
  •  The combination of lithium battery and SPC can meet the current demand during valve operation.
  •  Equipped with a photoelectric interface, it supports on-site reading of the portable infrared meter reading tool.
  • Optional for wired communication (M-BUS or RS485) or wireless communication (LoRaWAN/NB-IoT)
