Technological solution with LoRaWAN
The Challenge
Hotels in rural destinations like La Fortuna require reliable connectivity to support modern services. Public networks offer limited coverage and inconsistent performance in these regions. Without dedicated infrastructure, access to real time environmental data and smart services is restricted, limiting operational efficiency and regional innovation.
Our Solution
To address this challenge, a private LoRaWAN network was deployed using the Hotel Tabacón communication tower. This infrastructure enables the integration of a weather monitoring system and provides secure connectivity for future IoT applications.
